Lockdown Recipe for Students

Updated: May 14, 2021

It is boring & tuff time for kid. They are missing their school & friends very much. Kid should have some constructive way to pass time.

Today is 27 th April,2020 and we all are going through the Lockdown period, which had started in our state from 22nd march. According to Govt. Of India it will continued up to 3 rd. May until and unless it will be enhanced furthermore. Now I as an Assistant Teacher of the Govt. Aided school, is feeling much more concerned regarding our beloved students. They are mostly feeling monotonous and getting bored at their home. They can’t interact with their friends and Teachers properly during this period of time. Though some students are trying to get in touch with their teachers and friends over telephone but that can’t fulfil their mental satisfaction. On the other hand, Teachers are also doing their teaching learning process through uploading some educational contents and videos to the social media. The students confined themselves in their home, which is purely unnatural with their habits. The preprimary & primary level students are too little to understand what is happening throughout the world and as a result one big question is coming in their mind.... why we can’t go to the park or play ground? Our beloved secondary & Higher secondary level students are eagerly waiting for the time when everything will be fine so that they can move freely outside of their house. Specially those students who have just completed their life’s first board exam i.e. Madhyamik Exam.

Inspite of all these things we have to obey the lockdown period strictly because beyond this we have no other weapons to fight against the deadly corona virus In this critical situation students may spend their leisure time by the following ways;-

(1) The pupils under age group of 4 to 11 years may draw different diagrams, shapes, pictures whatever they want and colouring on that is mandatory because it can add colours on their life also. They can make different arts & crafts by coloring papers, card boards etc. Their parents must help them for doing those activities.

(2)The students of 12 to 16 years age group may spend their time by reading various story books, different biography and autobiography of our respected great persons like Dr. A. P.J Kalam sir, Swami Vivekananda, Our National Hero Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose etc. They can also listen some good music and audio books ; all of which will refreshed and energized their mind.

(3)Class XI & XII students may try to write some story, their feeling on different social festivals and incidents those are happening surrounding us, some tour experiences etc.

Lastly we all should pray to the God so that the present worst situation must go away soon & we can start to live our normal life spontaneously.
